Paul Lindsey and I, Angelette Lindsey have dreamed of for a number of years a day when we could live out our dream of giving back to our community. December 2014 marked the time that this dream became a reality for us and our friends.  Friends and family joined us as we celebrated each other with food and fun. Our celebration was more than just eating but one with a great purpose in mind. This is our story and how Bare Bottoms Ministry was born. 

About 5 years ago while driving to work in downtown Dallas, hubby and I witnessed a homeless man under the I-35 bridge. Apparently he was gathering his things for the day and bent over to pick them up. As he bent over, his bottom was exposed. About a week later, while talking about our dreams, my husband revealed to me his dream of helping those who were less fortunate specifically homeless families living under the bridge. The Lord brought back to my mind the homeless man under the bridge. That's is when BARE BOTTOM Ministry was born. December 27, 2014 marked the 2nd year that we have given food and toiletries to the homeless. The difference is, our friends and family joined us this year.
